It is midnight. Decided to take the "day off" from doing school work (will probably regret it later).

It's around midnight as of typing this. Decided to play SMTVV late.

• Wanted to remember where I left off. I was trying to fight Black Rider and prepare for story.
• My team and resources suck for Black Rider. I have ice resistance but his almighty attack along with Legion's attack boost ends up wiping the team.
• I don't have many options for fusions but I was about to go for Cybele just for her physical skills.
• My team was going to be Loki, Sui-Ko, Cybele, and myself... Until my Cybele fusion fucked up (it was a full moon) and instead I ended up with a level 63 Fuu-ki. They have less physical skills when compared to Cybele but I went for it.
• Both Loki and Fuu-ki died towards the end of the fight but Black Rider was defeated. I'll have to get Cybele later I guess lol.
• it's fights like these that make me cringe and I start thinking that I suck but hopefully I'll get better at these games.
• But I definitely played it more... Safe. A lot of guarding and defending (increased defense and Kannabi Veil) which helped us survive. I have to keep these tactics in mind, especially since I'm support. It really fucks with things that way.
• last thing, I really have to unlock the rest of my special fusions. I still have demons that I havent unlocked yet. Now I'm able to get the Riders so... Yeah.
• I think I want to work on that next time. I have to do some researching for the certain demons for the fusions and stuff.
• ... Yes.. I know there's the incense and I have a lot of them... I just don't want to use them... Yet.

I forgot to mention this in my previous entry so I'm going to mention it now...

• Grinded a little more and defeated White Rider. I had Atavaka, Vritra, and Hell Biker on my team.
• I actually summoned Flauros from my compendium for a fire block but I forgot to summon him for the battle lmao. Still I defeated the Rider.
• I think I'm gonna do a few more quests for completion and EXP but I was thinking about my fight with the Quidatsu
• I started the fight before to take a "sneak peak" but I forgot about their attacks. I'm anticipating a bunch of buffs and statuses though so that's my priority.
• I fused Loki and we both have hellish mask. I also unlocked the opportunity to fuse the doggy who also learns hellish mask. The saddest part about the Loki fusion is that I decided to go for High Restore (which he learns while leveling) instead of Dekunda (which I inherited through the fusion). I can go back but... I'm hoping to have a debuff such as Dekunda for another demon or for myself.
• I got Daisoujou for the half resistance to charm. I can also apply a full resistance to charm for .myself through essences. I'll probably test out my team once I'm ready before making too many adjustments.
• Daisoujou is underleveled so time to leveling them up the old fashion way. I had Grimoires but I used them for Hell Biker.
• My moveset has been: Aramasa, Miracle Water, Bowl of Hygieia, Evergreen Dance, Kannabi Veil, Mana Spring, and Hellish Mask. I might let go of the Bowl move. It costs one turn for me to use and I'm trying to find better support moves. Really, I just don't use it. Evergreen dance can also be changed tbh.
• I also unlocked the miracle where demons can use items so that helps
• So the team I have for now is: Atavaka, Daisoujou, Loki, and myseld. Atavaka is just going to be there until I find somebody else. I'm gonna do mote quests and more grinding. Especially to level Daisoujou.
• I don't know what other coverage I'll need for the fight. Once I'm ready, I'll fight the Qaidistu and see what happens. I'm not going to look up a guide yet.

• Took a break from homework to build a team for the battle against Black Rider.
• Loki, Vritra, Hydra, and Myself in that order.
• Loki and I have full resistance to ice. Vritra and Hydra have half-resistence. We'll see how it goes.
• I replaced Bowl... With Matarukaja. I do have Amananoko's essence for Mediarahan but I want to save it or try to find another essence that has the same move later.
• I'll also take the medium heals for all members but I need to unlock the last essence slot God dammit. (Onyakopon's essence has it) >:c
• Honestly I just fused Hydra just to add them to my registry lol. But I was able to pass down the Resist Ice as well as Dekaja -shrug-

Another great day of playing... I really miss this game so much.

• Not moving onto the story yet. I'm still unprepared for the fight with the Qaiditsu so onto scavenging and quests!
• I decided to fight the next Fiend who is White Rider. I got a few more side quests on my list that I need to complete.
• That said, I'm also unprepared for the fight. I maybe could've beaten White Rider with my current team if I was a little bit more serious about my first battle with him but it's okay. I wanted a better team for the fight. It just helps lol.
• Usually, I just jump right into a boss fight to get myself a "sneak peek" and then from there, I'll build my team / research stuff.
• Right now the team is: Me, Vritra, Atavaka, and Hellbiker. Hellbiker is underleveled so I'm in the middle of leveling him up. I wanted to grind for grimoires but I only found one Ara mitama within the two or so hours of playing. 8P Hellbiker is almost there though.
• I'm covering for both light and fire attacks. Some force attacks for the Dominions that White Rider summons. I don't know what White Rider's weakness is but I'll just clobber him like I did in Nocturne lol.
• I also fused two demons and got Hechantonheries.

I have homework to do but I needed a day to enjoy myself. Work and school and homework has got me beat. And I really want to finish SMTVV. I really miss this game. It's my heart. ;w; -cries-

• story-wise, I'm at the last battle with the Quidatsu (judging by what the game has told me). Naamah, Eisheth, Agrat, and now Lilith. I'll be fighting all four of these beautiful ladies at once.
• but I'm woefully underprepared for the fight so I decided to level, scavenge, and do some quests.
• there's still a handful of quests I got to complete. But I did finish Kudlak's and Kresnik's quest.
• this... Actually took me a lot of time to complete LMAO. I'm bad at video games but also, there was a lot of strategy involved when fighting Kresnik. I took Kudlak's side.
• I mean, I just didn't have the absolute -best- demons for the job and I felt underleveled throughout the fight and I was... I found out.
• Idk I just really liked the fight. It was challenging. At least for me. >w> But I bet other SMT players would cringe really hard at it LOL.
• Here, why not see how bad the fight is LOL. Only the last half of the fight though... PS4 clip. You can see just how much I was trying to use my noodle lol. PS4 clips are 15mins. Apparently the fight took longer than that asdfghjkl;

• but yeah I spent so much time rebuilding my team and fighting him that... This is all I did for today. My mind is pooped. Time for work tomorrow lol.
• Current Team: Pazuzu, Koumokuten, Atavaka, and Naho (me) in that order.

Haven't been catching up much due to health problems but things appear to be getting better. I did play a little bit last month. Also, I made some progress in SMT Nocturne today. I don't have a gaming journal for this one and I'm literally right at the fight against Lucifer in the True Demon Ending. I'm just gonna mention it at the end of this post.

SMTVV from 7 / 24 / 2024...

• I beat Yakumo and Nuwa but only after going though both Baphomet and Orobas. Yeah I gotta do this better but I did it.
• I decided to catch up on some side quests and I ended up finding a bunch of Mitamas in the Fairy Village so that was cool
• I have a couple Grimoires, some small glory crystals, and a bunch of relics that I sold so now I'm rich lol
• I need to take advantage of the special summons. I can summon hell biker and daisoujou but not Matador yet. There's also one demon that I can summon but I forgot while writing this
• I have enough glory for another upgrade but idk what yet
• I'm at the fight against the next sexy demon lady which is the one with the fortune teller and I forgot her name. But she didn't seem all too bad after I jumped into the fight just to the a look. I just don't have the right team.
• it's like I'm a little bit more reliant on damage and press turns as the support. Have everybody else hit as hard as they can and make it cycle back to me for heals and stuff.
• That was my strategy for the previous fight. I moved Nahobino to the back so that everything can cycle back to me.
the uh... Problem... Was my extreme lack of foresight and bad memory (which is always a problem for me. I forget things lol).
• Atsuki has a move where his demon aggros the opponent for a couple turns. I needed this because of Yakumo will start slashing his sword at fucking everybody. the think is, Atsuki's demon also gains increased accuracy or evasion (hardly works in my experience lol). He can heal himself for a great deal but yeah. Perhaps more importantly, he didnt have any moves that can cover the enemies weakness so that meant losing one press turn unless I hit a critical at random.
• BUT I HAD BAIHU. Baihu had a similar move but instead, it increases his defense. But Baihu is weak to force attacks which is what Nuwa had.
• but... You see... I forgot my essences in that moment. I shouldve just given Baihu either a Force Block or Resist Force to cover and I didn't. LMAOOOO. Also, since Baihu is one of my demons, I could've easily just given him a move just to add that one extra press turn. How I forgot this, I have no idea but thats my brain sometimes.
• So... yeah could've made that fight go by a little bit easier... maybe?
• Well... to the next demon lady!

Progress from Nocturne TDE as of 8 / 11 / 2024...

• I look break from the game but now I want to finish TDE.
• I fucked up my save at the beginning of the Tower of Kagatsuchi so I don't think I'll be able to get the other endings?
• I now have Shiva (and Vishnu), Beelzebub, and Metatron. Fusing Metatron wasn't that bad but I already had a lot of Macca so the process was a lot faster lol.
• Now to level them up and fight Lucifer I guess lol
• My other goals for this game is completing the compendium and mastering all the Magatamas but one step at a time. :P

• Every time I tell myself, "I'm going to take a break from this game.", I end up not doing that lmao.
• Figuring out the next fight with Yakumo and Nuwa and I have the party members (I think) but one of them is underleveled.
• The party for the fight is: Atsuka, Baphomet (who is underleveled), Flauros, and me. In that order.
• The support role makes things interesting and a bit hard (in my experience) but very fun and rewarding when trying to organize your team.
• I'm also not doing enough on my end. I tend to forget my items and I wasted some glories on adding mastery when I probably should've went for the "demons can use items" miracle.
• Buuuut it's okay I guess. Because during my trial run, I did beat Nuwa and after that, it's just surviving and beating Yakumo. And that's when Baphomet died and everything fell apart. Baphomet also needs Agidyne for the fight... If I have the essence. Baphomet has Maragion but it's medium damage.
• at this point, I'll probably need a dedicated boost demon person. I was thinking about the demons I had earlier in my playthrough who were especially skilled with buffs and debuffs.
• Though I don't think I'll need them in this boss fight, my buffing person is Dominion right now.
• As for leveling Baphomet, it's best if I use Grimoires or I'm going to be grinding for a while. You can find Grimoires here and there but apparently Ara Mitamas (or the red mitamas) drop multiple Grimoires at a time.
• I wish I did more research about the Mitamas. Sometimes I diss them when trying to get through the world and story.
• so today was spent trying to find more Ara Mitamas and life has a funny way of doing things because of course, when I'm trying to find something, I can never find it.
• But I did find two blue Mitamas (Nigi Mitamas who drop small glory crystals) and a grey Mitama (Kusi Mitamas who drops gospels which levels me up) so that was nice.
• If I find more of those grey dudes then that just means more demons I can eventually summon that can help me too since I'll be leveling up.
• I also defeated Hell Biker.
• I'm sure I'll need a demon or essence with riberama to help with enemy encounters. I just don't have one right now lol. I think Macabre learns Riberama. I have Macabre but I tossed the move lol.
• I finished Huang Long's side quest where I defeat the four gods. Definitely not ready for the fight against Huang Long though.

• A little bit stuck on the side quest fight against Onyakopon. He heals is all but I'm not doing enough damage so I think I have to level up a little. Then I remembered... oh yeah, the story LOL.
• So... now I have to prepare myself for that. I already previewed the next boss fight with Yakumo and Nuwa so I think I remember their weaknesses. I should be good.
• I feel like I have to get better at this because of my struggle with Onyakopon. >w> I want to be good at this game.
• My team right now is me, Dominion, Flauros, and Baihu. But I will switch them around once I get to the main boss fight.
• I am a little sick so my energy and brain is running on low right now.
• I'm having too much fun with this game. I love it so much!!
• I wonder who is the better choice though... Onyakopon or Anansi? But I'm not going to read anything about the quest. I chose Anansi first.

• Story progress, scavenging, side quests, leveling demons.
• Defeated all of the purple dudes so far.
• My teammates are me, Kushinada-Hime, Sarasvati, and Dionysus but I'm trying to figure things out. Gonna scope out the next boss fight and then I'll know what I really need.
• I unlocked more special summons I just got to uh... summon them.
• I need more macca.
• My moveset is (from memory): Miracle Water, Bowl of Hygieia, Kannabi Veil, Divine Arrowfall (thinking about this one), Mana Spring and Hellish Mask.
• Around 50 hours in now.
• I think I got all the large demon statues too.
• Also defeated Daisoujou.

One last thing...

Ladies.

• So I switched over to support and beat Khonsu and the gogmagog side quest so I can probably do it maybe.
• but definitely not without suffering. My fights are cringe as fuck. Lol. Khonsu eventually wiped everybody but myself with his physical attack. He was on his last legs though so I defeated him by surviving and using gems. Gogmagog also achieved the same thing towards the end.
• it's likely that I'm under leveled. It's also likely that I'm not utilizing as many buffs and I should. I do a number of debuffs but not buffs.
• But I was the same in some parts In Nocturne and I wasn't even a healer. I guess it just takes some time to learn the movesets and stuff. It's so cringe, I'm really sorry lolol.
• It's kinda stupid. I prioritize defense and attack but not accuracy and evasion. I think that's my problem. At least for some of these fights. Also: Demon traits.
• support is my favorite role. If it's possible to get to the end game like this then I will definitely do that. Idk about demi-fiend and such but at least finish the storyline.

• Alright gonna test out the healer role again. I just love healing lol
• gonna have to figure out the team for coverage though. It will be hard I think but I want to try
• I was looking at some fusions real quick before work and... Hmm .... I guess it depends if I'm gonna test the healer build but might fuse horus and make isis? I think that's the fusion if I remembered correctly.
• I keep forgetting that I also have demon incense
• Racked my brain around a healer build and demons that have good coverage + charm resistance because the demons in Shinjuku 1 have sexy dance or whatever
• this is genuinely hard for me to think about, especially right now but I wanna try. I have to grind anyways, I want to see if I can do it.

• A bit more story progress, exploring, more purple dudes, and demon fusions.
• I really want to hold my opinions about the story until the end but I'm enjoying the direction so far!

• I don't think I'm really good at this demon fusion thing lolol
• I think it's time for a break... For real this time. Honest.

• A lot of terrible progress has been made lmao.
• Almost at the Cherubim but I tried to get the scary horse guy with the hat which resulted in my reloading saves over and over just to get the right dialogue choice. I don't think it was meant to be though lol.
• I'm sure I'm a bit under-leveled for the area. You can tell (I think) by the enemies running up to you. They'll run away if you're over-leveled.
• After the fight with multiple Powers, I tried to defeat the giant purple guy for more miracles but I need to redo my team.
• I spend a great deal thinking about my team and their movesets... I think I just suck at organizing moves and trying to figure out which moves are best for which demon. It's a massive learning lesson for me. I also lowkey forget that I can just... keep demons around instead of fusing them left and right lol. It might be better to do in some cases, I feel.
• I would keep going but I decided to stop lol.
• Don't forget about the sidequests.
• For the Power battle, my team was me, Macabre, Anubis, and Horus.
• Ugh... still... healer role.... I feel like it would be better for me to organize my team this way even though I know it'd actually be much harder lol.

• I YEAH I FORGOT. I had two New Testiment Tablets and used one to redo Nahobino's stats. So now he's a magical powerhouse with a little bit of agility and luck.
• I slo ordered the soundtrack but had to do with through eBay which is more expensive. I missed my chance through CDjapan. The CDs are no longer available.
• Idk why so limited. Maybe the CDs will come back later but w/e eBay it is
• I also defeated the Matador at some point
• Another thing I forgot: at this point in the game, you can find more demons that can accompany your on your travels as in, finding secret items and rails in the hub world. Ive been tagging along with jack-o'-lantern
• I'm about 40 hours in so far

• I REALLY wanted to try out a healer Nahobino so I created a separate save as a test. But I might as well just carry on with what I was doing and try the healer later
• I also learned that you want to stick with one stat for the most part when using your points lol. For my main save I was going between str and mag lol
• But... Healer nahobino... But also... First time playing the game. So it's easier to just plow through everything instead of figuring out heals and party members lol

• Story progression. Enjoying myself and my team already.
• REALLY thinking about a support build for nahobino but do I really want to do that rn... While the next boss fight is namaah and large griffon dog xD
• I only have one New Testiment tablet. Idk where I found it but I'd rather find one more in case I don't like my stats lol
